You can join in the fun as well, helping them to build an entire gaming ethos -- together with dice, game board and even a few unique characters. We're sure the whole house will have a great time playing this game, which requires plenty of building and reconstruction. Here's some data about one game we're particularly fond of: Lava Dragon.

This is a race-type game where players try to be the first knight to climb a volcano and summon a dragon. It's not that easy, though. The players must avoid the lavaas they climb, whilstalso trying to hamper their opponents' progress. The clever and innovative Lego die ensures that no two games will ever be the same, so the children will return to this challenging game over and over. Lava Dragon is designed for 2 to 4 players, and a game takes just 15 to 25 minutes, so they'll never get bored with drawn-out play. Lava Dragon is designed for children aged 6 to 8.

Part of the Lego® Games stock line, Lava Dragon comes with 1 buildable Lego® die, 1 rule booklet, 1 building education booklet and 4 Lego® microfigures. The rules can change while the game, a surprising twist that keeps players curious and engaged. The Lego® die introduces a random element that shapes game as play goes on. Essentially this is a strategy game based on throwing dice. Players face an supplementary challenge that requires them to build the game board from Lego® components before play begins. Each player throws the die to settle either his knight can move or a extra operation is required. Such actions contain challenging lava tiles or climbing ropes on the side of the volcano.
